What Is the Quran Reading with Tajweed Course?
Our Quran reading course helps children and adults progress from recognising basic Arabic letters to reading complete verses accurately and confidently. Through personalised one-to-one lessons, students learn Quran online with Tajweed while receiving immediate pronunciation and recitation correction from certified tutors.
It is a practical reading course: instead of treating Tajweed as dry academic theory, students apply essential rules directly to their recitation, mastering correct articulation points (Makharij) and building lasting fluency.
Throughout the course, students develop confident, independent recitation directly from the Mushaf. Lessons are adapted to each learner’s starting point, whether they are taking their first steps, returning after a long break, or polishing existing skills.
What You Will Learn
Foundation and Articulation
- Makharij (articulation points) and Sifaat (letter characteristics).
- Letter joining and fluid word formation.
- Essential reading signs: Harakat, Sukoon, Tanween and Shaddah.
Core Tajweed Rules in Practice
- Rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanween (Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab and Ikhfa).
- Rules of Meem Sakinah and Qalqalah (echoing sounds).
- Measured vowel elongations (Madd rules).
Fluency and Independent Recitation
- Proper stopping and starting rules (Waqf and Ibtida).
- Rhythmic recitation with calm pacing (Tarteel).
- Habit correction and unassisted Mushaf reading.
These are taught as everyday reading skills, not as a separate theoretical syllabus. Students who later wish to study the rules of Tajweed in depth can move on to our Advanced Tajweed course.
